After being betrayed by her coven, a young Tessa Mason barely escapes Savannah with her life. With a price on her head, the witch goes into hiding for ten years with her twin brother and her ancient guardian. Once all her enemies have been eliminated, Tessa accepts an invitation to study under the greatest potion maker in the world. When she arrives in England ready to get on with her life, she is confronted by the son of the man who killed her parents… her first Fated mate. Sparks fly between these star crossed lovers as Rafik tries his best to make amends to Tessa. But she isn’t the girl he used to know, and she isn’t much on forgiveness these days. What will happen now that Tessa is face to face with the man she’s dreamed of killing for ten years…the one hand picked for her by the Gods? *************** Tessa Ignites The Order "Tessa! We're going to be late dear. Hurry up. " Jasper tapped his foot on the marble floor on the foyer as he looked at the Grandfather clock. Pushing back his curly dark hair off his forehead, Jasper looked at Teddy. "Will you go drag your sister down here please? " Puckering her lips in the mirror, Tessa slid on her red lip gloss and shook out her dark curly hair. "I'll be down in a goddamn minute! You think a face like this grows on trees. " As she looked down over herself, she straightened her form fitting black dress as she tugged nervously on her black and silver pearl necklace while she took one last look at herself. She was almost thirteen now and this was the first adult social gathering she had ever attended at her Order. These were the days when the families of the witching world introduced their children hoping for them to find their someday mates or to at least like someone enough that a future marriage could be arranged. Alliances started early among the Savannah elite and tonight promised to be particularly interesting because a new family had recently arrived from Morocco with five sons close to Tessa's age. Jasper Mason, the Orders leader, was hoping that at least one of them may be a suitable partner for his only daughter someday. Teddy stood leaning against the doorway as he looked over his twin sister. Running his hand through his curly dark hair, Teddy leaned his head to the side. "We're all waiting, you know. " Tessa shook out her hands and blew out a nervous breath as she turned to face him. "Do we really have to go to this thing? " As an amused smile curled up on his lips, the always relaxed Teddy winked his green eye at her. "Time to find you a mate, Tess. You're nearly an old maid. " She rolled her eyes at him and crossed her arms. "No fucking way. I don't even believe in that old timey bullshit. " Teddy chuckled to himself through his nose as he pointed at her. "That's it. That kind of talk wi...

i was never normal
"thank you jack, Im sitting here outside of Pine Hill Academy where, 15-year-old student, Sophia Michaels, was sexually assaulted and brutally stabbed to death in the basement of this preparatory school, In Pine Hill, New York. we'll have more information in 10." Michael Cunningham, a 16-year-old mommy's boy who got everything he wanted as long as he did what he's asked. He had a perfect reputation. Got good grades, never got in trouble, had a wonderful life, nice family, great house. Everybody thought he was just a normal teenage boy, But his secret was much darker. His father, Clyde Cunningham, American serial killer, was shot to death by police after he held 12 people hostage inside of a bank in 2006. Michael never knew about his dad until he started to have signs of psychopathy. *************** i was never normal Chapter one I was a pretty normal kid for a 16-year-old, I usually went with my friends to the local Café after school to work on homework so when I went home I didn't get distracted by my computer or phone. My friends weren't exactly friends. They were just a reason to get out of the house when I needed to. They're a bunch of self-centered pricks who only admire people on their standard. All of our parents were friends; Pine Hill is a small community, most people who grow up here end up staying here. My parents went to school with my "friends" parents, that's how we met, I was two years old living my best life, then dad died and my mother moved us back to her hometown in Pine Hill. She reunited with a bunch of her old friends. Most of them married with children, they all married their high school sweethearts which sound like something out of a cheesy romance movie. To this day I still don't understand why my mother even had me participate in those Stupid play dates, I was two. You wouldn't really need friends at two years old if I was 14-18 that would be a different story. High school is way different than elementary school or pre-school, you NEED friends to survive. You need at least one and if you don't? You'll be spending your entire high school career getting swirlies from the Football team or getting your underwear hung up on the flag pole for the entire county to see. I have seen a few boys get shoved into their locker and locked inside, not one person even bothered to approach the janitor for them, and as much as I wanted to support them, I couldn't risk my reputation to help a few kids. They were only found when the teachers didn't notice them in class. I guess that's why my friend group is so stuck up, they've known nothing but special treatment from teachers. Sophia Michaels basically buys her way through school, Sophia's a year younger than me, she's also currently dating Jackson, the only guy I can actually stand i...
Following the path of violence can lead to victories that take years to rise, but are those victories worth everyone's effort? With having no other choice than to follow the stack of soldiers and killing whoever stands against the communal cause, sanity is often hard to hold on to; some let it slip and some take action. *************** Tainted At One End "Why did he have to run? " I murmur as I wipe my tears, interrupting their innocent flow. I go near his body to pray for his soul's smooth journey, "May you get to visit Paradise my friend" addressing his fast-decaying corpse. Only 20 lives remaining, I can already feel the effects. As I make my way back to the town, I can hear the clamorous sounds in the distance. My mistake, it's nearer than I thought; they are executing the civilians again, I should hide; I have exhausted my abrasive behaviour for the day. "What're you doing here? " I hear someone say from behind me; I question the lord's apocryphal existence. "I... I was just finding my way back to the town. " "Giving up on an opportunity like this? You aren't trying to betray us or anything, right? " he asked me without flinching. Only if I had the verve to shout at him and tell him that I had lost interest in their cause a long time ago and just wanted to find my way back to my family. "It could never hurt to kill a few of those filthy insects. " "Few? It's your lucky day my friend, you're going to kill all of them, we'll just be crowd controllers. " he pierces my ears with these words as we make our way to the execution. I can see a strong resolve in his eyes as he stares at me and waits for me to take aim with my rifle. My finger on the trigger, I can smell the gunpowder in the air; the bullets residing in the corpses lying on the ground. I bolster my will and take my first shot. My shot is accompanied by a chuckle from the man who brought down this egregious fate onto me. 19 lives remaining; I need my family. Another shot, through the head of the man beseeching for his life; 18 lives left. I could hear some soldiers clapping at my dismal success. With every shot I took, the haunting screams of the person standing at the other side of my rifle reflected their whole lives. From within them, it wasn't happiness that was emanating, neither was it sadness. It felt like ...
